Abstract: OBJECTIVES  To identify the determinants of online learning process at undergraduate level.  To develop a course for building the capacity in terms of the identified determinants. METHODOLOGY Method : The present study follows qualitative research methodology. Development of the capacity building course will be based on survey among teaching faculty. Sample : Thirty members of teaching faculty from Arts and Science Colleges. Tool : Interview schedule for teaching faculty. RESULTS Based on the interpretation of data collected from the teachers using the interview schedule certain conclusions were arrived at. Based on the main points suggested the areas for capacity building course for online learning at undergraduate level was designed. With the help of supervising teacher, the investigator developed the course and it was sent for expert opinion and suggestions were incorporated.
